Thanks for the kind words. I have found writing for Autism Asperger’s Digest a refreshing outlet to share about my experiences as a father. Writing about my struggles as a father with a child with special needs is a blessing I’m learning not to take for granted. As you may know the divorce rate in families that have children with special challenges is running at about 80% (the last time I checked), so it’s incredibly refreshing to see blogs like yours (the Pinewood Derby Car article was great).

I think it’s a significant issue that professionals between fields (psychology, neurology, physical therapy, speech therapy, etc.) don’t always know what the other fields have to offer and how that information might factor into diagnoses in ways that we don’t yet fully understand.
